Our Story

A Culture That Goes Beyond the Job

My House In-Home Care has served Arizona families for 18 years, and Uma has led it for the past 13. In that time, she has supported more than 1,500 families through some of the hardest chapters of their lives — and built a team whose longevity speaks to something that no job description could ever fully capture.

Over the years, My House staff have shown up in ways that go far beyond their roles. They have volunteered on weekends, brought family members along to help make a client’s home livable, and fixed everything from windows to faucets to doors and sinks. During COVID, when elderly and disabled clients had no way to reach groceries, the team organized a food drive and delivered groceries and toiletries themselves — because the need was there, and they could help.

As Program Director Katie put it: “Success isn’t measured only by performance, but by the positive difference we make in people’s lives.”

She Didn’t Know Help Existed. She Was One of Ours.

She had spent 18 years as a caregiver with My House, walking into people’s homes during their most vulnerable moments, knowing the system inside and out. Then, in 2023, a medical emergency left her unable to work. Facing eviction and unsure what benefits she even qualified for, she had no idea where to turn. She had given so much over the years and so My House stepped in. They covered her bills, sent a caregiver to her home, helped her apply for disability and food assistance, and made sure she wasn’t alone through any of it.

But one thing stopped Uma cold: if someone who had spent nearly two decades working inside this system didn’t know what was available to her, what chance did everyone else have?

The Problem She Could No Longer Ignore

That question — and 13 years of bearing witness to what family’s face — revealed a problem Uma could no longer look past.

Families are making some of the most consequential decisions of their lives almost entirely without information. They panic when hospice is mentioned because no one explained it can mean a nurse beside them at 2 a.m., not the end of hope. They discover too late that Medicare doesn’t cover long-term home care. They don’t know that a little help with laundry or meal prep could prevent the fall that changes everything. They wait until discharge, until crisis, until burnout — because they didn’t know another option existed.

And it’s not just families. Healthcare professionals themselves are often equally unaware of what support is available. The gap is systemic.

Uma feels this personally. She is caring for her own aging parents right now, living the very uncertainty her clients have described for years.

CareCircleInsights Exists To Close The Gap

CareCircleInsights exists because of all of it. Not as a referral engine or a platform with financial incentives tied to your choices, but as the honest, experience-rooted resource Uma wishes every family had found sooner.

“It is imperative,” she has said, “that we try whatever we can to get this information out there.”

About the Founder

Uma Nagulapalli is the founder of CareCircleInsights and owner of My House In-Home Care, an Arizona-based home care agency with 18 years of service to families across the state. Uma has led the organization for the past 13 years, supporting over 1,500 seniors and families through complex care decisions and building a caregiving network of 1,000+ professionals, backed by a dedicated office team whose long tenure reflects the culture she has cultivated.

What that work revealed, year after year, was a crisis of information. Families are making life-altering decisions without guidance. Healthcare professionals are unaware of available support. Preventive options are going untapped because no one knows how to ask.

Uma built CareCircleInsights to change that — an education-first resource offering honest, experience-rooted guidance to families navigating aging and caregiving, grounded in nearly two decades of real operational knowledge.

She is also, right now, caring for her own aging parents.
